Our new collection, Reading Guides anglais, lets you introduce collège and seconde learners to reading fiction in English. Each one contains extensive extracts of a popular work of fiction and lots of teaching tools to help pupils understand. On 12 June, two guide authors discussed how to use fiction in the classroom in a short, free webinar. Now you can watch the replay!
Corinne Escales and Marianne Bomy, the collection director and the author of the latest addition to our collection, Roald Dahl's Matilda, shared tips on using fiction in general and our guides in particular, and answered your questions, in a short webinar. Thank you to everyone who attended, and asked such pertinent questions.
You can find more information and browse an extract of each of the guides on the Nathan site. You can find them here: Matilda, Gangsta Granny and Number the Stars.
And you can check out our articles about them below.
We've been accompanying LLCER teachers and their 1ère and Terminale pupils with our Reading Guides for their set texts since 2019. You can find all the titles on our dedicated page.
