The Earthshot Prizes website has great short videos on the five ecological challenges the prizes aim to tackle. They are perfect for class use, either picking a theme or having groups work on different videos and share information.
The British Royal Foundation is awarding five prizes a year till 2030 for innovative ideas to help the planet. The first Earthshot prizes were awarded on 17 October, chosen from three finalists in each of five categories.
The page explaining each “Earthshot” has a 2-3-minute-long video which covers why that theme is important to the survival of the planet, what is threatening it and what can be done. There is also some concise written information.
They are clear and well constructed and could be used from B1.
