Downton Abbey: End of an Era

Posted by Speakeasy News > Sunday 10 August 2025 > Ready to Use Shine Bright Lycée

As the final film in the Downton Abbey saga is released, these activities will help your students learn more not only about this final film and its plot but also about the era or rather the “end of an era” in which the lines between classes are blurred and the upper-class world is about to be shattered as the world is changing.

Depending on your objectives, these activities can be used alongside the Shine Bright Terminale File 4 Masters and Servants, or per se or even as a multidisciplinary project with the history teacher (as social changes and turning-point events like the Great Depression are alluded to).
