There’s a new curriculum for English in 6e from September. Our authors have been busy coming up with themes and documents to correspond to the curriculum and appeal to teachers and pupils alike. Have a look at the introductory video:
In the new curriculum, there are 5 cultural axes in 6e, with several “objets d’étude” suggested for each. Shine Bright 6e covers all the axes, with two or three varying-length chapters for each one.

Axe 2. Le quotidien : vivre, jouer, apprendre
Axe 3. Pays et paysages
Axe 4. Imaginaire, contes et légendes
Axe 5. Arts et expression des sentiments
Inside Shine Bright 6e you'll find:
• A short introductory chapter on dragons to revise knowledge from primary school, Wings of fire.
• 14 chapters, from 2 to 14 pages long, to vary the rhythm of work through the year.
• Authentic documents that are really accessible for young learners, including songs.
• A strong accent on vocabulary and grammar, including grammar tuto videos and interactive activities to help pupils revise vocabulary and test their knowledge.
• Activities to allow differentiated learning, and a clear structure to guide pupils in their understanding.
• Appealing themes to spark pupils' interest, exploring the cultures of the English-speaking world: The Addams Family manor, life at a British school, a trip to Kenya, Christmas with the Grinch, Christmas carols, diaries in fiction, London with Mary Poppins and Peter Pan, basketball, Wicked the musical, Augmented Reality in a Welsh castle, pet stories and a Highland adventure.
• Two short escape games: a Mississippi treasure hunt and escaping from a ride at Universal Studios Florida.
