The famous Wicked musical is now a film. How about embarking your 6e students on a trip to Oz and the Emerald City in order to make them discover the world of Wicked while revising the present simple and learning words about school and wizardry?
The trailer focuses mainly on the Shiz University section and pupils will be able to draw on their knowledge of school but also fictions like Harry Potter and Wednesday, as well as less magical school dramas opposing popular and unpopular students..
Thanks to these activities based on the trailer, the students will understand who the main characters are and how their relationship evolves through the film in order to finally ponder over who the real “wicked ones” are.
This film will be followed by a Part 2, due to be released in November 2025.
