Kenneth Branagh fait suite à son succès comme réalisateur et vedette d’une première adaptation d’un roman d’Agatha Christie, Murder on the Orient Express, avec Death on the Nile, où on retrouve Branagh incarnant le détective belge Hercule Poirot. Cette fois un meurtre a été commis non pas dans un train mais sur un bateau naviguant sur le Nil. L’étude d’un article et d’une bande annonce permettent un travail sur le vocabulaire du polar, le portrait physique et moral, et la formulation d’hypothèses.

OBJECTIFS

  • Notions : Langages / Voyages et migrations

Objectifs linguistiques :

  • Grammaire : présent simple / prétérit / hypothèses / superlatif
  • Lexique : vocabulaire du crime / biographie / adjectifs / description physique
  • Phonologie : syllabe accentuée dans les adjsectifs / champ lexical du crime (blood, murder…)

Objectifs pragmatiques : s’appuyer sur des indices (images, sons, biographie) pour émettre des hypothèses sur une bande annonce, sur une histoire.

Objectifs culturels : L’univers d’Agatha Christie / le roman policier britannique
