Posted by Speakeasy News > Friday 03 May 2024 > Pedagogy Shine Bright Lycée

There are a few changes in the LLCER Terminale set texts list for 2024-2026 and we're wondering which of the new works you're planning to work on, so we can plan our publishing schedule for associated Reading Guides.  Which is your priority between Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Americanah  and Jane Campion's The Piano?

The updated list has two added novels, Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice (1813)  and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Americanah (2013)  and one novel has been removed, Hanif Kureishi's The Buddha of Suburbia. The three films that were already on the list are staying but one has been added, Jane Campion's The Piano (1993).

The updated list for 2024-2025 et 2025-2026:

- Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Americanah (2013);
- Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid's Tale (1985);
